Marrakech to Erg Chigaga Desert Tour aims to discover the majesty of the Erg Chegaga Sahara desert with its endless sand dunes and breathtaking scenery. After a 2-hour drive through rocky track sand dunes, we join the most spectacular vast desert of Morocco. You will be taken on a trek off the beaten tracks through less undiscovered places where you can experience a sense of wilderness, breathe clean air of the Sahara desert and explore the diversity of wonderfully changing landscapes with splendid undulating sand dunes that change color as the day progresses along with the guarantee of a cheerful welcome from the nomadic Berber people. This vast area of sand dunes makes for a breath-taking landscape, particularly at sunrise or sunset. In the evening we make fire and admire a purely sky full with brightly stars and night out in the open air with moments of real pleasure to discover constellations.
Itinerary
We leave Marrakech "Red City" is the most important former imperial city in Morocco's history. It is Situated on the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, which we will drive throughout for miles and miles enjoying the fascinating presence of superb and scattered Berber village.Almost half way we will pass by the Universal heritage of Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a fortified village of the 11th century.35 km from Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah we will visit Hollywood of Africa Ouarzazate, where the biggest filmmaking studios. The drive will go on along the longest valley all over the kingdom 1052Km and the biggest palm tree oases. Arriving to Agadez where we will spend the night.

We keep driving along Draa Valley before passing by zagora where the remains of an Almoravid fortress can still be seen. We pass by Tamagrout That is Situated on Draa Rive,In this small town we will visit oldest libraries of the kingdom. Driving along Draa valley to M'hamid, that is a very modest village. and not much different from the village you have passed before arriving here. From a vast plateau you will get impressed by the huge sand dune of Chigaga ,where we go for a camel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sand dunes sights we will ever see, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dune.Tonight we stay in Berber camp and enjoy a wonderful stars view.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise on the dunes. After breakfast, departure for Foum Zguit passing through: nomadic families who live in tents, dry lake iriqui and a desert plateau full of acacia (picnic in an oasis for lunch). Continuation to Ouarzazate via Taznathte. Then we go through the village of merzgane and the village of Ighrem, we continue to marrakech by the road crossing the Tizi-n-Tichca.
